One-colour marks, wordmarks, icons and hand-drawn logos trace especially well. Vector Boy isolates dark shapes and rebuilds their boundaries as Bézier curves.
Multi-colour logos are not separated by colour. Use one high-contrast source per colour, or work from the original brand files whenever they are available.

- Adjust black level, contrast and brightness until all intended lines are present.
- Remove isolated marks or unwanted regions with the cleanup option or lasso.
- Open vector view and inspect outer contours, counters and narrow gaps.
- Smooth only visible raster steps and simplify Bézier curves conservatively.
- Export the format that fits your next production step.
Simplification should remove raster noise, not redesign the mark. Compare circles, sharp corners and counters at high zoom.

PDF is useful for controlled print output, SVG for modern design and production software, EPS for traditional workflows, DXF for contour-based CAD and laser processes, and PNG for the cleaned raster result.

Can I change the logo colour later?
Yes. SVG and EPS contain filled paths whose colour can be changed in vector software.
Why are tiny letters closing up?
The black level or smoothing may be too strong. Reduce it and inspect the counters again.
