Terms and Conditions
1. Provider and scope
These Terms apply to Vector Boy, provided by O.D.E.R.S.O. GmbH, Labesstraße 7, 27404 Zeven, Germany, represented by Managing Director Fynn Kliemann. They govern user accounts, purchases of download credits and use of the browser-based image vectorization service.
2. Service
Vector Boy processes selected image files locally in the user's browser and creates raster previews and vector paths. Available exports currently include PDF, PNG, SVG, EPS and DXF. The source image is not uploaded for processing. Results depend on the source material, browser, device and settings. Users must inspect the preview and suitability for their intended production process.
3. Account
An account may be created directly or automatically with the email address used for a first purchase. Account details must be accurate and access credentials must be protected. Accounts and credits may not be transferred. Users are responsible for activity carried out through their account unless caused by us.
4. Credits and prices
The product “Vector Boy · 100 Credits” costs EUR 10.00 as a one-time payment including applicable indirect taxes calculated by Stripe Tax. One completed download uses one credit regardless of format. There is no subscription, automatic renewal or recurring charge. Credits remain available while the account and service continue. Credits are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
5. Referral program
Signed-in users may share a personal invitation link. If a new person creates an account through that link and their first credit purchase is finally confirmed, the inviting account receives 50 credits once. One reward is possible per invited account. Self-referrals between accounts controlled by the same person, automated or misleading distribution and other abuse are prohibited. Referral credits may be reversed or offset against future credits after a refund, chargeback, dispute or abuse. Referral credits cannot be paid out or transferred. The program may be changed or ended for future invitations.
6. Contract formation and payment
Before placing a paid order, users confirm the applicable Terms, Cancellation Policy and Contract Information and request immediate access where selected. Payment is processed by Stripe using the payment methods shown in Checkout. The contract is formed when payment is successfully confirmed. We send a contract confirmation and the documents accepted at checkout to the payment email address on a durable medium.
7. Downloads and technical requirements
JavaScript, a current browser, sufficient local memory and an internet connection for account, credit and payment functions are required. Users are responsible for saving downloaded files. A failed technical download should be retried through the account where possible. Credits may not be bypassed through automated access, manipulation or parallel requests.
8. Cancellation rights
Consumers receive the separate Cancellation Policy. Where a consumer expressly requests immediate supply of digital content and acknowledges loss of the cancellation right when performance begins, the right ends as provided by applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Rights and prohibited use
Users may process only material for which they hold the necessary rights. The service must not be used to infringe copyrights, trade marks, personality rights or other laws, to distribute unlawful content, attack the service, evade credits or interfere with other users. Rights in uploaded source material and generated output remain with the respective rights holder; no rights to third-party material are created by vectorization.
10. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, security measures, provider outages and technical changes may temporarily limit the service. We may develop the tool, export formats and interface further without reducing already purchased credits.
11. Defects and liability
Statutory warranty rights apply. Users must check whether output is suitable for printing, plotting, embroidery, tattooing, laser processing or other production. We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and under mandatory product liability. For slight negligence involving essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
12. Final provisions
German law applies subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer habitually resides. If the user is a merchant or legal entity under public law, the agreed place of jurisdiction is our registered office where legally permitted. The German and English versions are intended to describe the same terms; where interpretation differs, the German version governs to the extent legally permissible.
